Mrs. Kathy Graham
Parish Trustee / Lay Corporate Member

Kathy was born in New Haven, but has lived in West Haven and has been a parishioner of St. John XXIII Parish since 1978 where she worships in St. John Vianney Church.  As a volunteer for the parish she has helped with finances including the carnivals and parish collections.  

She is also involved in other civic organizations in the City of West Haven.  She graduated from Lauralton Hall and Sacred Heart University.  Kathy went on to work in education, retail and in banking with Bank of America for 20 years wherein she retired in 2012.  She is the proud mother of two daughters and five grandchildren.

Mr. Richard Antosca
Parish Trustee / Lay Corporate Member

      Richard M. Antosca is a native of Massachusetts and a proud supporter of all Boston sports teams. He has been a parishioner of St. John XXIII Parish since 1985  where he worships at Saint Louis Church.  He and his wife, Elaine, were married at Saint Louis Church and have 2 children. Their daughter, Rachel, has been an Altar Server at Saint Louis Church for the past 15 years. Richard is a Travel Advisor at Largay Travel of Waterbury, Connecticut and has been in the travel industry for 40 years.  

     Richard is an active member of the Knights of Columbus St. John Paul II Council at Saint John XXIII Parish since 2005, having served as Color Corps/Honor Guard Commander. He continues to serve as a monthly Banker, Usher at the 9:00 AM Mass, Chairman of the Annual Summer Parish Carnival.

"Each parish is to have a finance council which is regulated by universal law
as well as by norms issued by the diocesan bishop; in this council the Christian faithful, selected according to the same norms, aid the pastor in the administration of parish goods with due regard for the prescription of canon 532."

Ms. Georgia Catenza

Secretary, Finance Council Member

Georgia Catenza was born and raised in West Haven, attended Sacred Heart Academy in Hamden, earned a B.A. in Education from Rider University and moving to Los Angeles she attended UCLA attaining her CPA license working as a public accountant for a regional firm: Lee, Sperling, Hisamune.  She spent the next 23 years with Schering-Plough Pharmaceuticals in New Jersey.  Her positions included Senior Internal Auditor working in and visiting over 20 countries, Manager-General Accounting Services, Manager-Reporting and Consolidations-Domestic and International Operations, then Finance Director-Budget Coordination and Controls and Corporate Headquarters prior to her retirement.

Mr. Frank Gentilesco

Finance Council Member

Frank has been a parishioner of St. John XXIII Parish since 1975 where he worshipped at Our Lady of Victory Church and now in St. John Vianney Church. While currently retired, he worked in the banking industry for almost twenty-five years, initially with the Orange National Bank then with the Bank of New Haven, which became Citizens Bank. He was a Vice President at both institutions in retail branch banking and left the industry in 1998. That year he joined the administration of East Haven Mayor Joseph Maturo, Jr., as the Assistant Director of Administration and Management, where he retired in 2007.

Frank has been a member of the Parish Finance Council for over twenty-years and was previously one of the trustees for well over fifteen years. He is currently married to his wife Gail for over 40 years and has one daughter, Gina Marie Gentilesco.

Mrs. Elaine Carroll

Finance Council Member

Elaine C. Carroll and her husband John Anderson became parishioners of St. John XXIII Parish since they moved to West Haven in 2006.  Their daughter, Cecilia, was baptized in St. Lawrence Church in 2008.
Elaine is the Chief Executive Officer of the New Haven Symphony Orchestra and has over 20 years experience in guiding nonprofit organizations.  She has a track record of increasing revenues, engaging boards, increasing community access to the arts, and diversifying audiences, ensembles and leadership.  She and her NHSO team were recently awarded the Sunspot Award for Increasing Nonprofit Impact through Innovation from the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce.
Elaine has appeared as a guest lecturer on grant-writing at the Yale School of Music and she is a Group Chair at the League of American Orchestras.  Elaine earned her Masters of Performing Arts Administration from New York University, holds a Bachelors of Arts in Flute Performance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and recently completed a course in Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management at the Harvard Business School.

Mr. Ronald M. Quagliani

Finance Council Member

Ronald Quagliani is a West Haven resident.  He earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a Concentration in Law Enforcement Administration, a Master of Science in National Security and Public Safety, and Master of Science in Emergency Management from the University of New Haven.  He obtained Connecticut Police Officer Certification and a Certificate from the University of Virginia attending the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia. He served as a Police Officer in the City of West Haven and as the Chief of Police.  He currently is the Associate Vice President of Public Safety and Administrative Services of the University of New Haven.  He serves in several local boards and committees and has 25+ years of Municipal Finance Experience.  He has also served on the West Haven City Council for many years as an elected Councilman At-Large and currently serves as the elected Treasurer for the City of West Haven.

Mr. Brian Laucks

Finance Council Member

Brian Laucks is a Connecticut native and West Haven resident.  After receiving his degree in Economics from Clark University in Worcester, MA, Brian has spent his entire career to date in supply chain management serving as both a leader and individual contributor, for various Fortune 500 and Global 2000 organizations. Brian’s experience spans the medical device, consumer products, electronics, hospital – healthcare, architectural hardware, and energy – utility industries.  More recently, Brian returned to Quinnipiac University and completed a Master’s of Science degree in Organizational Leadership.  Brian is currently employed by Fortive Corporation, based in Everett, Washington.  Brian, and his wife, Mary, Saint Lawrence School graduates, credit Saint Lawrence School’s culture, curriculum, and committed teachers with providing a very solid, Catholic foundation, for daughters, Emily, Class of 2008, and Kate, Class of 2011.  

Both Brian and Mary have been engaged in various aspects of the Saint Lawrence School and the St. John XXIII Parish community, and as a result, have made many, lifelong friends.

Mr. Michael Ferraiulo

Finance Council Member

Michael Ferraiulo is a West Haven resident and has over twenty years of public accounting (C.P.A.) experience, providing accounting and tax services since 1977.  He has provided corporate and individual income tax return preparation, reviewed and maintained bookkeeping systems, set up monthly reporting financial statements, and reviewed financial information with management.

Mr. Robert Vets

Finance Council Member

Robert Vets was born and raised in West Haven where he and his wife, Chia-Hui, still live with their two sons, Robbie and Tommy. He is an active member of the Knights of Columbus Council 14326 and Boy Scout Troop 899. He also serves on the board of Shore Haven Jr Baseball and West Haven Fundamental Basketball. He is an Air Force veteran. For the past twenty years he has worked for the Bilco Company and is currently the Manager of Drafting and Estimating.
