THE LORD OF PEACE
CHARISMATIC PRAYER GROUP

The Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement has been fanning the flames of the Holy Spirit for more than 50 years around the world and in West Haven. The Lord of Peace Prayer Group began in the early 70’s and continues to meet at St. John Vianney Church on Wednesdays at 2:30 PM in the Church Hall. It is a time of praise and worship, singing and Scripture, Thanksgiving, Petition and Fellowship. All are invited to join the prayer group inviting the Holy Spirit into your life!

The mission of the Apostles of the Word is to make known the Word of God and promote and defend the Catholic faith. It is a missionary family at the service of the Catholic Church.

Their mission is to spread worldwide through communities, homes, and parishes the devotion of praying the Holy Rosary, the reading of the True Devotion to Mary by St. Louis de Montfort and Total Consecration of oneself to Jesus Christ through the hands of Blessed Mary.

“We Adore Him Who Lives” is a Catholic Fraternity of Charismatic Covenant Communities. It is a family of communities that have the Acts of the Apostles as their model of life wherein preaching the Word, praising the Lord and Adoring the Lord (especially in the Most Blessed Sacrament) is their spirituality and way of life.
